Coffee Morning/Plant Sale this Saturday:
The Parents Association of St Eunan’s College will hold their annual Coffee morning in the College
this Saturday, 25 th March from 9.30 am to 1 pm. A Plant Sale, supplied by the Horticulture students
at the College will take place too. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
Assessment Day Saturday 25 th March 2023 Reminder:
The Assessment Day for 6th Class students attending St Eunan’s College in September 2023 will take
place on Saturday, 25 th March (Unless otherwise informed). It will begin at 9.30 am. Doors will be
open from 9.10 am. The Assessment Tests will conclude at 12.30 pm approximately. Please contact
the school office on 0749121143 if you can't make it. All materials will be provided on the day, so
your sons do not need to bring anything with them. A snack will be provided during the morning of
the Assessment. Please refrain from attending if your son has symptoms of Covid-19. Thanks in
advance for your cooperation. The School Prefects will be on hand to direct you and will bring your
son to the designated hall/Rooms.
Staff Training Day
On Monday, 27 th March, there will be a Junior Cycle Training Day for all staff. As per calendar, there
will be no classes for students. Please note that Students are not in school on this day.

Our Green-School committee held a non-uniform day today in aid of UNICEF. They collected 930 euro. Well done boys. Thanks to everyone who supported this worthy cause👏🌲🌿💚🌸🌏

Well done to the LCA1 class who organised an ice cream sale on Tuesday, 14 March, as part of their Enterprise module. Despite the icy weather conditions, the sale was a great success.

Congratulations to our Under 17 Soccer team who lifted the Ulster title after they defeated a strong Carndonagh team 3 – 2 after extra time in a keenly contested match at Cockhill, FC, Buncaranna. The goals were scored by Shay Maloney, with two and the winner ry Fintain Hassan. Well done to all involved and their managers Mr. Kevin Murphy and Mr. Shaane McBrearty.

Winners of our regional Pi quiz Ciaran Giddey, Sarya Hasan Amin, Andrew Crosnoi, Cian Gallagher and their teacher Mr B McDaid.

There were over 50 teams from four schools competing in or Study Hall today. Thanks to all who visited and took part.

Thanks to Ms Crawford and the math department for organising the Pi Quiz 2023.

Congratulations to our second year basketball team who won the North west regional A final against the Abbey Vocational school yesterday. The second years will now progress to the All Ireland series. Well done!

Congratulations to Samiur Rahman who came first in the Green-Schools Sustainable Transport Poster competition and to Charlie Callaghan who came 2nd and Adam Moore who came 3rd.
