During the year the Student Council has been working with @localise on the Volunteering For All Award. Saint Eunan’s College has become the first school in Donegal to be given this award. The Volunteering For All Award is a nationwide initiative that recognises and affirms volunteering and charitable work undertaken by young people from all backgrounds and circumstances. This award celebrates the positive contribution all young people make to the place in which they live.
Thanks to all the students and teachers who helped with The Student Council with their surveys. Well done to the whole school on the volunteering that takes place. #VolunteeringForAll
The Green-schools committee of St Eunan’s College are delighted to announce that we have been awarded our first international Green Flag for our contributions to reduce litter and waste in our school. Unfortunately, we will not be able to go ahead with the award ceremony which was due to take place next month, however we look forward to it once school life returns. We are very proud of our committee members, too many to name a few, who have been working so very hard to make our school more environmentally friendly and we would not have been able to receive this award without them. We, the committee will continue to reduce litter and waste in our school and upon returning to school, it is our aim to start working on the next theme, energy conservation. Finally, again a massive thank you and well done to our members, the students who we are extremely proud of and not forgetting our teachers who have worked hard to make this opportunity possible.
